The snowflakes are too easy, but the way
of hanging up the snowflakes may be new to you. However I'll tell
you what I did.... |
|
|
You need |
Use all kind of white threads and
yarn - look in your leftovers.
Hook: use a bigger hook than required for the yarn, in order to
get "light" snowflakes! |
|
|
Snowflake 1. |
|
Ch 3, turn and - in the
very first chain, make as many simple crochet as necessary to make
a little circle. Cut the yarn and bind a double knot with the two
endings. Then cut 2 mm from the knot. |
Snowflake 2. |
|
Ch 4 and work as Snowflake
1 but make half double crochet. |
Snowflake 3. |
|
Ch 5 and work as Snowflake
1 but make double crochet. Before making the knot:
insert the hook in a strand next to the center and bring down the
last piece of yarn, the nmake the knot. |
Snowflake 4. |
|
Ch 5 and work as Snowflake
3 but make a ch between the double crochet. |
Snowflakes .... go
on making small differences as you like |
|
|
How to
hang up! |
The most invisible thread is black
sewing thread!
Cut the thread as long as you want, do not make a knot on the
thread but weave in the top of a snowflake and bind a kont around
the yarn.
Now go throgh each snowflake (diagonal) - slip all the snowflakes
on the thread. When you hang up the thread you will be able to
slide the snowflakes as you want, you do not need other knots! |

Sorry for the pictures,
but it is almost impossible to make good photoes of these
snowflakes in our window! |
