The lights have lined our town.
There's a manger in my neighbor's yard
Reigndeer two doors down.

The Santa Clause is here.
On cards and cakes
And cardboard plates
That famous face appears.

There's people everywhere.
With toys to buy.
And bows to tie.
But not much time to spare.

I'd like to slow things down.
And give more of my time and love.
To those I care about.

My favorite gifts are free.
Late night talks
And long slow walks
